Our theme for the year is movies. We will pick a movie that may or may not have cooking in them, and find something to make in relation. This month happens to be one with lots of cooking and with two of my personal favorite cuisines. Both French and Indian are represented, but to simplify we are going with the French side. (I'm sure I will be happy to suggest another Indian film later in the year to fulfill an Indian night.) So watch the movie if you haven't seen it yet. It's on redbox. We are changing the date and location from what we discussed last month due to some hectic households.

James is DJing that night, so I don't think I'll make it. Have a bonne nuit!
I can actually come that Saturday. I'll bring coeur à la crème as well as something savory that I haven't decided on completely.
I will make a quiche.
I will bring a cheese plate.
I watched the movie and I am planning on making french baguettes.
Ladies, I regret to inform you of yet another change to this month's cooking club. I am unable to host or attend due to a funeral in Idaho. Laurie has stepped in and volunteered her first time hosting. She lives in Arvada, please contact Lisa or April for her address.
So sorry Jennie! I won't be able to make it either, I'm doing some baby celebrating this weekend. Hope you don't get snowed out! Enjoy.
I will be making Salade Nicoise, looks so yummy! Also, if you want to meet at my house (Lisa's) at 6:45pm then we can carpool to Laurie's. Let me know so we can wait for you!
So I'm going to also bring Fennel Baked in Cream.
It's been snowing up here all afternoon though. We're supposed to get about two feet of snow at my house - so if I'm snowed in by tomorrow night I guess that's that.
I'll keep you posted though.
I am bringing Coq au Vin-a chicken dish. Can't wait!
Have we discussed a date/place/theme for March?
